StrongPoint revenue rises to NOK 364 million in third quarter
Key Facts
StrongPoint reported operating revenue of NOK 364 million in the third quarter of 2026, compared with NOK 320 million in the same period a year earlier, according to the company’s report. EBITDA rose to NOK 18 million from NOK 14 million a year earlier. Its margin increased to 4.8% from 4.3%. But growth in total revenue coincided with a decline in recurring revenue and a fall in gross margin. Operating cash flow also turned negative during the quarter.
Trailing 12-month recurring revenue was NOK 365 million at the end of the quarter, down 4% from NOK 380 million in the comparable period. The company attributed the decline to a NOK 13 million drop in recurring revenue from Pricer ESL and a temporary reduction in Sainsbury’s commitment to its click-and-collect order volumes. It said 11% growth in service agreements offset part of the impact. In the third quarter of 2025, trailing recurring revenue had risen 12% to NOK 380 million. This puts recurring revenue on a different trajectory from the increase in quarterly operating revenue in the current quarter.
Gross margin fell to 41% in the third quarter from 45% a year earlier. The company said the main reasons were lower margins on AutoStore product sales, alongside lower recurring revenue from Pricer and the temporary reduction in Sainsbury’s click-and-collect order volumes. On geographic growth, StrongPoint linked performance in the Nordic countries to sales of CashGuard, Vensafe, scales and packaging. It attributed growth in the United Kingdom and Ireland to AutoStore product revenue, while growth in Spain came mainly from sales of Vusion ESL devices. In the third quarter of 2025, revenue growth in the United Kingdom and Ireland had reached 127%, driven by the delivery of an AutoStore facility and VusionGroup shelf-label installations.
On liquidity, operating cash flow was negative NOK 19 million in the quarter, compared with a positive NOK 23 million a year earlier. Net interest-bearing debt reached NOK 103 million at the end of the third quarter, up NOK 46 million from the second quarter. The company said higher working capital and increased use of factoring in the United Kingdom contributed to the rise in debt. The figures show EBITDA improving alongside negative operating cash flow and higher debt during the period. The report included in the evidence did not provide a share-price movement figure or an explanation for one.
