Securitize announced a plan on October 28, 2026, to integrate its infrastructure with the Stellar network, enabling the issuance and management of tokenized financial assets on the network. The announcement aims to expand the blockchain options available to institutional asset managers, according to a company statement published via PR Newswire. But the plan has not reached the stage of completed integration, and the company has not announced when it will go live. It has also not specified which assets will be available through it, and said further details would be released when available. The announcement coincided with the Stellar Development Foundation’s annual Meridian 2026 conference, scheduled for October 28 and 29 in Lisbon.

The network’s selection builds on an existing ecosystem of tokenized real-world assets: the Stellar Development Foundation said its value reached $4 billion as of September 1, 2026. The foundation counted 67 tokenized products and 10 regulated issuers on the network on the same date. Carlos Domingo, Securitize’s co-founder and chief executive, said Stellar has the fourth-largest tokenized real-world asset ecosystem. The ranking was based, according to the company, on the value of distributed assets reported by RWA.xyz as of October 22, 2026. Stellar’s website cites an existing example: Franklin Templeton’s BENJI assets, which were valued at $605 million on the network on October 6, 2026.

Stellar describes transfers on its network as reaching final settlement in about 5 seconds. That is a feature the foundation attributes to the network; Securitize did not say its planned integration guarantees a specific settlement time. Stellar also says asset setup can include identity verification, redemption and sanctions compliance, capabilities of the network. Securitize’s announcement did not specify how these capabilities would be applied in the integration or which assets would use them. Implementation details therefore remain subject to what the company announces later.

The plan is part of Securitize’s expansion across more than one network during 2026. On September 30, the company announced an integration with ADI Chain, saying eligible tokenized financial products issued through its platform could benefit from its infrastructure, subject to regulatory, product and jurisdictional requirements. In an earlier announcement about an integration with TRON, it said tokenized securities and funds issued through its platform would be available on the network. At the time, it pointed to a new real-world asset product expected on TRON, with details to be announced later. The Stellar announcement adds another option to this strategy, without announcing a specific product or operational launch.

The expansion coincided with growth in Securitize’s tokenization activity in the second quarter of 2026. Its average tokenized assets reached $4.3 billion, up 16% year over year, while total assets under management stood at $4.3 billion on June 30, up 9%. The company also recorded gross transaction volume of $5.3 billion during the quarter, an increase of 147% from the same period a year earlier. Revenue, by contrast, was $14.4 million, down 5% year over year. It posted a net loss of $21.7 million and an adjusted EBITDA loss of $5.5 million, compared with a positive $1.8 million in the second quarter of 2025.

Securitize shares, trading under the ticker SECZ, closed at $8.16 on October 27, according to L7 data. They had closed at $7.59 on October 26, after closing at $7.80 on October 23 and $7.97 on October 22. The move came before the integration plan announcement published on October 28 and does not by itself establish the announcement’s effect on the stock’s performance. On implementation, Securitize said details of the supported assets would be announced when available. It also cautioned that the integration could be delayed, changed or not completed.
