Ripple Expects Annualized Revenue to Reach $900 Million by End of 2026
Key Facts
Ripple expects to end 2026 with an annualized revenue run rate of $900 million from its products, according to a statement published on October 28. The figure describes the annualized revenue run rate the company is targeting by year-end, not revenue it has already generated. The company said the number of customers and partners using more than one of its solutions tripled during 2026. The statement said they include BNY and DriveWealth, Robinhood and Water.org. The announcement comes as Ripple expands its business across payments, custody, treasury and institutional brokerage.
Ripple said its products enabled transactions worth more than $16 trillion during 2025. The figure provides a measure of the scale of activity the company says its products supported, alongside its annualized revenue run-rate target. In payments, its network covers more than 60 FX markets and is nearing $150 billion in cumulative transaction volume by the end of 2026. Ripple's payments and custody services, the company said, enable banks including DBS, HSBC, FirstRand Bank and Standard Chartered to move and manage assets. These figures provide context for the company's presence among financial institutions, while the threefold growth applies specifically to customers and partners combining multiple solutions.
Ripple is expanding its corporate treasury business following its $1 billion acquisition of GTreasury in 2025, according to its announcement of the deal. In October 2025, the company completed its acquisition of Hidden Road, and the prime brokerage business began operating as Ripple Prime. Ripple said at the time that Ripple Prime's business had grown threefold since the deal was announced. In its announcement of the Hidden Road acquisition, it said the company served more than 300 institutional clients and cleared $3 trillion in transactions annually. Ripple says its Ripple Treasury platform now serves more than 1,000 customers in 160 countries, extending its reach into treasury management.
In stablecoins, Ripple's statement put the market capitalization of its RLUSD token at $2.6 billion, up more than 88% since the start of 2026. Ripple and Coinbase also said in a joint announcement on October 28 that the token's market capitalization had exceeded $2.4 billion since its launch in December 2024, and announced that it would be available to Coinbase customers. The two announcements reflect the token's expanding presence across different platforms and services, with different figures reported in each statement. The previous day, Ripple and Robinhood announced a partnership covering RLUSD, Ripple Treasury services and institutional markets through Ripple Prime. At the time of the announcement, the token was available on Robinhood Chain and Bitstamp by Robinhood, with availability in the Robinhood app expected later this year.
The developments coincided with Ripple's effort to strengthen the regulatory framework around its digital asset services, after receiving final approval from the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to establish a national trust bank. The bank's approved activities include managing the segregated reserves backing RLUSD, acting as its fiduciary custodian and providing fiduciary custody services for digital assets. Ripple says Standard Custody & Trust will continue to issue the stablecoin, while the approval adds federal office oversight to its regulatory framework. On October 12, Standard Chartered announced that institutional custody for RLUSD on the XRP Ledger was available through its branch in the Dubai International Financial Centre, regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority. These steps link the token's issuance, reserve management and institutional custody within services aimed at institutions.
Ripple Chief Executive Brad Garlinghouse said, "Settlement is moving toward instant, around-the-clock operation, and tokenized assets can be traded, financed and used as collateral." The company is prioritizing the integration of its products in 2026, following product growth and strategic acquisitions in 2025. The 10th annual Swell conference, which began alongside the announcement, brings together more than 1,500 participants from financial institutions, builders, asset managers, regulators and the XRP community. RLUSD is expected to become available in the Robinhood app later this year, having been available on Robinhood Chain and Bitstamp by Robinhood when the partnership was announced. Reaching the targeted annualized revenue run rate by the end of 2026 remains a company forecast as Ripple continues to expand its services and institutional partnerships.
