Virtuix expects strong revenue growth in the second quarter of its fiscal 2027, ended September 30, 2026, driven in part by higher Omni One sales. The company said in a statement published by GlobeNewswire that the increase followed the June launch of Omni One for Quest in partnership with Meta. The announcement indicates that the company sees a commercial impact from the launch, but does not include a projected revenue figure or growth rate. Virtuix said in an update issued on September 14 that Omni One orders had risen nearly 3-fold year over year from the start of the quarter through that date. The company scheduled a results discussion call for November 16, when the quarter's reported figures will become clear.

The Quest version launched on June 23, 2026, and Virtuix said in the launch statement attached to its filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that the product would be included in the Made for Meta program and featured in the Meta Store. The company said the launch expands its addressable market to millions of active Quest platform users. In the first quarter of fiscal 2027, orders for Omni One systems rose 72% from the same period a year earlier. After the Quest version launched in June, orders rose 2.5 times compared with the year-earlier period, according to the company's disclosure. Virtuix also said in its first-quarter results that orders had increased nearly 150% since the Quest version's launch compared with the corresponding period, and that momentum continued into the then-current quarter.

However, order growth did not coincide with higher sales in the first quarter: sales fell 26% to $767,300 in the three months ended June 30, 2026, from $1,032,136 a year earlier. Virtuix attributed the decline mainly to shipping the final batch of the Omni One order backlog accumulated since the preorder period began in August 2023. Over the same period, gross profit rose 29% to $227,158, compared with $176,077 in the year-earlier quarter. Gross margin also improved to 30% from 17%. The results show that order activity and recognized revenue were affected by different timing factors, as the company said shipments of accumulated orders reduced the year-over-year sales comparison.

For the full fiscal year, Virtuix sales rose 18% to $4,252,643 in the year ended March 31, 2026, from $3,590,438 in the prior year. The company attributed the increase mainly to new Omni One sales. Full-year gross margin also improved to 25%, after a negative 6% margin in the previous fiscal year. Virtuix linked the improvement to a higher selling price for the complete system and lower manufacturing cost per unit. But better sales and margins did not prevent the net loss from widening in the first quarter of fiscal 2027 to $7,170,566, from $2,307,155 in the corresponding period.

The company also reported a decline in cash and cash equivalents to $7,443,869 on June 30, 2026, from $9,471,288 on March 31. It used $3,294,829 in cash for operating activities in the quarter ended June 30, compared with $1,491,122 in the same period a year earlier. In its disclosure, Virtuix said its path to profitability depends on expanding Omni One sales while keeping customer acquisition costs at an acceptable level, and on gaining acceptance in the defense sector. It added that potential defense contracts could be high-value, but cautioned that there is no guarantee it will expand sales or achieve product-market fit in that sector. These factors keep the conversion of order growth into sustainable revenue and margins an important focus in tracking the company's results.

Virtuix also faces a deadline to address a Nasdaq Global Market listing requirement. On September 30, 2026, it received a notice stating that the value of its listed securities no longer met the minimum threshold of $50,000,000, based on a review period from August 18 to September 29. Nasdaq gave it until March 29, 2027, to regain compliance, and the notice said this would not immediately affect the stock's listing or trading. In the market, VTIX closed at $0.6498 on October 26, after closing at $0.7893 on October 20 and $0.7791 on October 21. The stock closed at $0.7098 on October 22 and $0.6922 on October 23, according to EL7 data.

The second-quarter results discussion call will be held on Monday, November 16, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. Eastern time, according to a Virtuix statement. The published results will be the next milestone in assessing whether the order increase reported by the company translated into recorded sales in the quarter ended September 30. The new figures will also put the strong-growth outlook in the context of first-quarter performance, when sales fell despite higher orders and an improved gross margin. The call comes before the March 2027 deadline set by Nasdaq to address the listed-securities-value requirement. The company's statement did not specify the revenue figure it expects to report or the anticipated growth rate.
