TransUnion kept its 2026 constant-currency organic revenue growth forecast at 8% to 9%, after posting growth at the same rate, 8%, in the third quarter, according to a company statement issued on October 27. Quarterly revenue was $1.312 billion, up 12% from the same period in 2025 on a reported basis. Adjusted diluted earnings per share rose to $1.25 from $1.10 a year earlier, while reported diluted earnings per share increased to $0.81 from $0.49. Chief Executive Chris Cartwright said the company is balancing business momentum with higher interest rates and market uncertainty. The company kept the upper end of its annual revenue forecast and raised its adjusted earnings-per-share outlook.

The company expects total share repurchases to reach $500 million during 2026, after buying back $243 million worth of shares from the start of the year through October 27. On October 26, the board increased its share repurchase authorization by $1 billion to $2 billion in total, the authorization ceiling and not the amount of purchases expected during the year. The board also raised the quarterly cash dividend to $0.135 per share from $0.125. The dividend will be paid on November 25 to shareholders of record on November 10, 2026. The repurchase and dividend decisions combine completed and expected share purchases with an increase in cash returns to shareholders.

Growth varied across the markets where the company operates in the quarter. U.S. market revenue grew 7%, driven by financial services and insurance, Cartwright said. International revenue growth accelerated to 10% on an organic, constant-currency basis, while India rose 18%. At the total revenue level, the difference between reported growth of 12% and constant-currency organic growth of 8% reflects different measurement bases. The figures put growth in India and international markets above the pace in U.S. markets over the same period.

Cash generated from operating activities was $889 million in the nine months ended September 30, 2026, compared with $668 million in the corresponding period of 2025. The company attributed the increase mainly to improved operating performance and changes in working capital. TransUnion raised its 2026 adjusted diluted earnings-per-share forecast to a range of $4.81–$4.88, equivalent to expected annual growth of 12% to 13%. Its annual revenue forecast is $5.131 billion to $5.162 billion, alongside a constant-currency organic growth range of 8% to 9%.

TransUnion shares closed at $79.62 on October 26, according to EL7 data. After the announcement, the stock fell 0.28% in premarket trading on October 27, according to Investing.com.
