Key Facts
Sobi said revenue rose 17% at actual exchange rates to SEK 9.124 billion in the third quarter of 2026, compared with SEK 7.776 billion in the same period a year earlier. Growth was 16% at constant exchange rates, according to the company’s statement issued on October 27. Sobi raised its 2026 revenue growth forecast to a range from the high teens to the low twenties in percentage terms at constant exchange rates, from the mid-to-high teens previously. At the same time, it kept its forecast for adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization margin at the mid-to-high thirties as a percentage of revenue. The results came amid uneven growth across the company’s businesses, with hematology revenue expanding while immunology revenue declined.
Third-quarter revenue was above the FactSet consensus estimate of SEK 8.960 billion, based on forecasts from 10 analysts before the report. The company recorded revenue growth of 23% at constant exchange rates from the start of the year through the end of the third quarter. Its annual revenue was SEK 28.238 billion in 2025, up 15% on the same basis. In the third quarter, hematology revenue rose 29% at constant exchange rates to SEK 6.171 billion, compared with SEK 4.771 billion a year earlier. The company attributed the growth in this business mainly to sales of Altuvoct and Doptelet.
Altuvoct sales were SEK 1.729 billion, compared with SEK 769 million in the third quarter of 2025. Doptelet sales also reached SEK 1.829 billion, versus SEK 1.408 billion a year earlier. Growth in the two treatments helped drive hematology revenue, according to Sobi’s statement. Across the strategic portfolio, revenue rose 25% at constant exchange rates to SEK 6.298 billion, from SEK 5.001 billion in the corresponding period. The figures show broader growth in the strategic portfolio alongside growth in hematology, while immunology moved in the opposite direction.
Immunology revenue fell 6% at constant exchange rates to SEK 2.525 billion, compared with SEK 2.658 billion a year earlier. The company said the decline was affected by lower quarterly royalties from Beyfortus, at SEK 732 million versus SEK 1.166 billion in the third quarter of 2025. This was partly offset by higher sales of Gamifant, at SEK 834 million from SEK 733 million, and Kineret, at SEK 959 million from SEK 769 million. Adjusted diluted earnings per share were SEK 6.96, compared with SEK 6.11 a year earlier. Diluted earnings per share were SEK 6.76, compared with a loss of SEK 8.40 in the corresponding period.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization were SEK 3.990 billion, compared with SEK 3.620 billion in the third quarter of the previous year. However, the adjusted margin on this measure fell to 45% from 47% a year earlier, after excluding comparative items worth SEK 97 million. On a cash basis, cash flow from operating activities reached SEK 1.871 billion, compared with SEK 1.840 billion a year earlier. After the quarter ended, Tryngolza received a positive opinion from the European Medicines Agency’s Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use for the treatment of severe hypertriglyceridemia in Europe. Investing.com reported that Sobi shares rose 2% after the results announcement and revenue outlook increase on October 27.
