Regions announced that it is making its business cash deposit service available at more than 8,100 locations in the United States, expanding customers’ access to deposits outside bank branches. Clip Money supports the enhanced deposit network, according to Regions’ official service page. The company says the service reduces businesses’ reliance on proximity to branches and offers multiple options for accepting cash. The move comes as the service seeks to meet the needs of businesses that collect cash across dispersed locations. Announced features include routing deposits to one account, with digital tracking and the ability to make recurring deposits.

The service’s channels include Cashboard and ClipCenter locations at retailers, ClipATM machines that allow cardless deposits at big-box stores, pharmacies and convenience stores, as well as ClipDrop smart safes. These channels serve businesses operating across dozens or hundreds of locations, allowing deposits and change-order requests to be managed through a single deposit account. Regions says customers receive immediate visibility into each deposit, audit-ready reports and user-level tracking. These tools enable cash-flow monitoring and operational oversight across locations. The company also says funds can be credited to the primary operating account on the next business day.

Regions’ statement does not say that NCR Atleos was integrated directly into the treasury management platform; the relationship between NCR and Clip dates to an announcement of a commercial collaboration and strategic investment on September 27, 2023. NCR said at the time that the agreement combined Clip’s business cash deposit solution with NCR’s cardless deposit interface and cash-in network. The announcement said NCR’s network included more than 2,500 operating locations in 30 states, complementing ClipDrop’s network of 400 locations at the time. In a subsequent announcement in 2024, Clip said its NCR collaboration locations were aimed at Main Street businesses and underserved areas in 70 U.S. metropolitan areas. The announcement quoted a banking analyst at Celent as saying that finding modern solutions for handling cash “remains a significant hurdle.”

Regions’ rollout comes against a backdrop of growth at Clip Money. The company’s revenue reached $1,913,490 in the second quarter of 2026, compared with $1,349,587 in the same period of 2025, an annual increase of 42% and a quarter-over-quarter rise of 9%. Clip attributed the growth primarily to a 53% increase in new deposit users and a 31% rise in revenue per user year over year. Revenue from its ClipChange product also increased 157% year over year. Active customer locations totaled 4,378 in the second quarter, while 8 new enterprise customers made more than 1,500 locations available to participate in the network.

Usage across channels reflects the range of needs among new customers: five of the eight customers used ClipATM or ClipCenter alongside ClipDrop, and three of those relied primarily on ClipATM or ClipCenter. At Regions, CEO John Turner said continued momentum in fee-based businesses contributed to third-quarter results, alongside credit quality and active markets in the bank’s operating regions. The cash deposit service falls under treasury management offerings, but Regions did not link its launch to a specific financial impact in its service statement. NCR Atleos reported second-quarter revenue of $1.10 billion, flat year over year, with 70% coming from recurring sources. Its CEO said service-led growth initiatives and investment in product innovation are encouraging financial institutions and retailers to choose the company’s offerings.

NCR Atleos is scheduled to report third-quarter 2026 results before the market opens on November 4. The company said it would not hold an earnings call because of the pending Brink’s deal and would not issue financial guidance. In August, it said it expected to complete the proposed acquisition in early first-quarter 2027, after accelerating the expected timeline. NCR Atleos shares closed at $46.99 on October 26, a standalone closing price that does not establish a market response to Regions’ service rollout. The upcoming results will provide the company’s latest quarterly data as its commercial collaboration with Clip continues.
