INNIO Sets October 27 for Third-Quarter Results Before Market Open
Key Facts
INNIO scheduled its third-quarter 2026 results for release before the market opens on October 27, according to a statement issued on October 14. The timing puts the company’s quarterly performance report at the forefront of investor attention; the results had not been published when the statement was issued. The company also announced a conference call to discuss the results at 8:00 a.m. Eastern time the same day. Attention will therefore focus on the actual figures and what management presents on the call.
The expected results follow a second quarter in which INNIO recorded equipment orders worth $2.3 billion, up 316% year over year, according to investor relations data. Investing.com data show the company reported second-quarter revenue of $937.70 million, against expectations of $880.58 million. It also recorded earnings per share of $0.08, compared with expectations of $0.05. These figures provide a recent basis for comparison when assessing third-quarter results, but do not establish in advance that performance will be repeated or that a new record will be set. The company’s upcoming release will be the reference point for evaluating its performance during the period.
Data center orders were among the key commercial developments ahead of the results date. On October 22, the company announced an additional 620 megawatt order from a U.S. data center operator, bringing the customer’s cumulative orders to about 1.72 gigawatts. Chief Executive Olaf Berlien said the order "confirms the strength of customer demand and their continued confidence in INNIO." The company said the customer had signed a long-term maintenance agreement covering the first 500 megawatts of previously ordered capacity. The agreement adds a service component to the order alongside the supply of power equipment.
This followed an announcement on September 17 of a confirmed 450 megawatt order for data center projects in North America, with engines expected to be delivered by 2028. These orders serve a market where data center needs intersect with the power solutions INNIO offers, according to the company’s description of its business. The company says it designs, manufactures and maintains power systems under the Jenbacher and Waukesha brands. Its cited applications include data centers, microgrids, grid stability, industrial power and gas compression. These activities provide context for the order figures against which the third-quarter report will be read.
On financing, the company announced on September 22 that Moody’s had raised its credit rating by one notch to Ba3 from B1, and Fitch had raised its long-term issuer rating by two notches to BB from B+. Chief Financial Officer Dennis Schulze said the focus was on "turning strong demand for INNIO’s power solutions into profitable growth and long-term shareholder value." The statement puts the conversion of orders into profitable growth among the topics markets may follow in the new figures. Management is scheduled to hold its conference call at 8:00 a.m. Eastern time on the results date, while the company has set the release for before the market opens on October 27.
