Indoco Remedies revenue rises 7.4% to 5,069 million rupees in second quarter
Key Facts
Indoco Remedies reported a 7.4% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue to 5,069 million rupees in the second quarter of fiscal 2026-2027, compared with 4,718 million in the same period a year earlier. In its results statement, the company said the growth came alongside an improvement in operating profit, with EBITDA at 464 million rupees, or 9.2% of net sales. The company had recorded 431 million rupees and a margin of 9.1% in the corresponding quarter. The figures reflect higher revenue and operating profit alongside a limited increase in the quarterly margin. Management said the quarter reflected a continued focus on improving business performance and strengthening operational efficiency.
For the first six months of the fiscal year, consolidated revenue was 9,731 million rupees, compared with 9,027 million in the corresponding period of the previous year, an increase of 7.8%. First-half EBITDA rose to 875 million rupees from 606 million rupees a year earlier. The EBITDA margin also improved to 9% of net sales, from 6.7% in the same period a year earlier. Margin expansion was therefore more pronounced in the first-half results than in the quarterly comparison. The period’s data show that revenue growth was accompanied by a greater improvement in operating profitability relative to net sales on a half-year basis.
Management attributed the performance to improvements across different businesses, noting that its international regulated formulations business grew 21.1% in the second quarter. It said the active pharmaceutical ingredients business recorded growth of 22.0% in the first half. Support services also maintained their momentum, growing 27.4% in the first six months. The reported growth rates were split between the performance of international formulations in the quarter and contributions from the ingredients and support services businesses in the first half. Managing Director Aditi Panandikar said the period “reflects our continued focus on improving business performance alongside strengthening our operational efficiency.”
