ADNOC Drilling Approves $350 Million Dividend for Third Quarter of 2026
Key Facts
ADNOC Drilling’s board approved a total dividend of $350 million for the third quarter of 2026, according to a Reuters report published via TradingView. The decision adds another payment to the dividends the company has announced this year. The company had previously announced a $525 million dividend for the first half of 2026, including $262.5 million for the second quarter. The Reuters report did not state the reason for approving the dividend or link it to third-quarter financial results. The company is scheduled to announce its third-quarter results on 27 October, according to the preliminary date on its financial calendar.
The approval comes amid a progressive dividend policy approved by ADNOC Drilling shareholders at the annual general meeting on 1 April 2026. The policy calls for an annual increase of at least 5% in 2026 and each year thereafter through at least 2030. This minimum separates the annual increase set by the policy from the additional dividend approved by the board, such as the third-quarter payment. The company announced that total dividends for 2025 amounted to $1 billion, an increase of about 27% year on year. This included a final dividend of $250 million for the fourth quarter of 2025.
In its latest published results, ADNOC Drilling reported revenue of $2.46 billion in the first half of 2026, up 4% year on year. Net profit was $706 million, up 2% from the same period a year earlier. The company attributed revenue growth to strong oilfield services activity, disciplined execution and a largely contracted revenue base. It said oilfield services growth was accelerating and that technology and artificial intelligence were improving efficiency and performance. These results cover the first half, and the company did not attribute the third-quarter dividend decision to them.
The company maintained its full-year 2026 financial guidance, forecasting revenue of about $5 billion and net profit of between $1.45 billion and $1.50 billion. In its first-half results statement, it said the board had proposed in October 2025 raising the 2025 dividend floor to $1 billion, with annual growth of at least 5% starting in 2026 and continuing through at least 2030. In the annual general meeting statement, Chairman Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber said shareholders’ approval of the 2025 dividends and the increase in the minimum 2026 dividend reflected confidence in the company’s strategy and future cash flows. He said: "Our shareholders’ approval of a $1 billion dividend for 2025 and an increase in the minimum dividend for 2026 reflects strong confidence in ADNOC Drilling’s strategy."
