The company attributed the increase in funds from operations to higher liquids royalty production and strong U.S. dollar-denominated West Texas Intermediate prices. Funds from operations totaled C$127.9 million, or C$0.55 per share, a 42% year-over-year increase. Average royalty production was 26,936 barrels of oil equivalent per day, up 1,249 barrels per day year over year. PrairieSky identified the Clearwater, Mannville Stack and West Shale Duvernay areas as drivers of royalty production growth during the quarter, and linked strong natural gas liquids volumes to activity in the Montney and Duvernay. In Clearwater, average heavy oil royalty production exceeded 3,200 barrels per day, up 25% from the same period a year earlier. The company estimated that waterflood operations support 60% of production in the area and limit its decline. In Mannville Stack, drilling began on 25 wells during the quarter, a record according to the company, and average heavy oil royalty production exceeded 1,150 barrels per day, up 41% year over year. The figures show the differing sources of royalty growth, from increased production in established areas to new drilling activity.

In Duvernay, royalty production rose 37% to about 1,500 barrels of oil equivalent per day in the first nine months of 2026 compared with the same period a year earlier.
