Key Facts

2Aurelion’s net asset value was $91.9 million on June 30, 2026, compared with $134.7 million in digital assets and cash and debt of $42.8 million.
3Aurelion posted an operating loss of $24.4 million in the quarter ended June 30, 2026.
4AURE shares closed at $1.05 on October 23, 2026.

Reality, Aurelion and Bitget announced a partnership ahead of the issuance of the rAURE token, which Reality plans to launch backed by AURE shares on a 1:1 basis and held by a custodian, according to the partnership announcement published on Yellow. Bitget will be the token’s primary trading platform after launch, enabling the Nasdaq-listed company’s shares to be represented as a digital asset tradable on the platform. The announcement said that “each token is backed 1:1 by an underlying AURE share held by a custodian.” The move creates a new trading channel for shares of a company whose strategy centers on tokenized gold, but it does not mean Aurelion is issuing new shares. The launch and listing remain pending until the partners announce their timing.

According to the announcement, the minting and redemption mechanism for rAURE will link the token to the underlying shares it represents. Eligible users in permitted jurisdictions will also be able to trade around the clock, seven days a week, after listing. This access is conditional on user eligibility and geographic location, according to the partners. The announcement provided no further details on verification procedures or redemption terms. The partners said the launch and listing dates would be announced in a separate statement.

Aurelion places digital gold at the center of its treasury management, saying XAU₮, known as Tether Gold, is its primary reserve asset. The company says the token is backed by physical gold held in Swiss vaults. According to its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, it had $134.7 million in digital assets and cash, while debt was $42.8 million and net asset value was $91.9 million. These figures show the scale of its assets and liabilities at quarter-end as the company works to make its shares representable through a separate token. rAURE remains tied to the AURE share held in custody, while XAU₮ is tied to the gold reserves the company says back the token.

Aurelion posted an operating loss of $24.4 million in the fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company attributed the loss mainly to a decline in the fair value of its XAU₮ holdings as gold fell during the quarter, according to its published results. In the quarter ended March 31, 2026, it reported operating income of $8.9 million, which it attributed to fair-value gains on its XAU₮ holdings as gold rose. The two results reflect the impact of gold price movements on the valuation of assets underpinning its treasury strategy: gains in the quarter ended March were associated with the metal’s rise, while its decline accompanied the loss in the quarter ended June. Net asset value was $116.4 million on March 31, 2026, while the subsequent results showed $91.9 million on June 30; the two figures alone do not represent a continuous trend over time based on the data provided.

The partnership follows Bitget’s launch of Reality’s platform for tokenizing U.S. stocks and investment funds, a move previously covered by EL7 in May 2026. rAURE adds a token linked to a gold treasury company’s shares to that effort, with continuous trading for users who meet the announced eligibility requirements. On its gold strategy, Aurelion said financing completed in October 2025 totaled about $150 million, including a $100 million private investment and a $50 million senior debt facility. The company said the financing enabled it to establish a Tether Gold treasury strategy and purchase about $134 million worth of XAU₮. Chief Executive Frank Cheng said the company is focused on “building the technology capabilities and risk management that institutions need to use tokenized gold with confidence.”

On October 23, 2026, AURE shares closed at $1.05, according to EL7 data. The available information does not include another price for comparison on that day. Aurelion announced on October 22 an additional $2 million investment from Antalpha to support its digital gold strategy, and Antalpha Chief Financial Officer Paul Liang said the increased investment reflects the company’s confidence in Aurelion’s strategy and the long-term potential of tokenized gold. The partnership announcement did not specify a launch date for rAURE; the December 21, 2026, deadline in the investment announcement applies only to the completion of Antalpha’s subscription, subject to customary closing conditions, and does not set the token’s launch date. Aurelion said completion of the subscription is expected as soon as practicable, subject to customary closing conditions.
