Revolut Pay Integration Into Jupiter Mobile Could Not Be Verified Despite Expanding Deposit Options
Key Facts
The addition of Revolut Pay to the Jupiter Mobile app could not be verified, as no publicly available original announcement from Jupiter or Revolut confirmed the news. The claim in the initial version that the option was available to users therefore cannot be treated as confirmed. In its partnership announcement with Jupiter, published on September 19, 2024, MoonPay described the app as enabling users to buy cryptocurrencies through its services. The payment methods listed at the time included debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and bank transfers. The announcement did not mention Revolut Pay among the options.
Published materials show that buying cryptocurrencies by phone was available on Jupiter before the claim under review. Jupiter Mobile's page says users can buy SOL with Apple Pay, Google Pay and cards, while the deposit page allows payment through Apple Pay, Google Pay or a supported method selected by the user. Jupiter's help center also says USDC can be purchased directly with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card through its instant deposit flow. This means any new payment method, if later confirmed, would join an existing purchase flow. These pages, however, do not establish that Revolut Pay is included in that flow.
MoonPay plays a role in the previously announced purchase flow; in its 2024 announcement, it said Jupiter app users could buy cryptocurrencies through its services. MoonPay founder and Chief Executive Ivan Soto-Wright described the integration as a milestone in the company's expansion within the Solana ecosystem. He said making deposit services available within the platform made Jupiter more accessible to users. The statement relates to the announced MoonPay partnership and does not establish that a similar agreement exists with Revolut Pay. Available materials also contain no confirmed details on fees, currencies or eligible countries for any alleged integration.
Revolut Pay already offers an option to buy cryptocurrencies through MoonPay in supported regions, according to MoonPay's help center. The company says the option applies to purchases only and does not cover selling cryptocurrencies or converting them to cash. Current availability is limited to the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and the United States. A user's Revolut account country must match the country of the MoonPay account, or both accounts must be in the same region. These conditions describe MoonPay's current service and do not confirm that Revolut Pay has been added to Jupiter Mobile or define its availability there.
Jupiter operates in a broader context than a purchase gateway alone; MoonPay describes it as a price aggregator for decentralized exchanges on Solana, including Raydium, Orca and Phoenix. MoonPay put Jupiter's 24-hour trading volume at about $400 million in its 2024 announcement and said the platform had facilitated more than $290 billion in transactions from its founding through the announcement. These are historical figures cited in the partnership material, not a current measure of activity. Expanding deposit options also does not, by itself, provide evidence of increased liquidity or trading volume. No available statement links Revolut Pay to those figures or to any market impact.
Revolut's corporate backdrop comes as the company expands its digital services. On October 19, 2026, it said its new digital assets company had received a distributed ledger technology provider license from the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission. In the same announcement, Revolut said it had more than 16 million cryptocurrency users worldwide, alongside more than 80 million retail customers. In its 2025 annual report, it said it was targeting 100 million customers by mid-2027. This reflects the breadth of its digital assets business but does not establish an integration with Jupiter.
According to MoonPay's status page, Revolut Pay and Jupiter on the Solana network were listed as operational services when the page was updated. On October 20, MoonPay reported that Revolut Pay payments were disrupted by an outage at Google Cloud that also affected other payment providers, then announced that service had been restored and re-enabled. The status page does not say that the disruption or recovery was linked to an integration with Jupiter. In the broader context of the Solana network, the foundation said Samsung Wallet would support USDC transfers over the network on 82 million Galaxy devices in the United States starting in the final week of October 2026. This is part of payment developments on the network and does not confirm the Revolut Pay claim for the Jupiter app.
