Kodak reported consolidated revenue of $311 million in the second quarter of 2026, compared with $263 million in the year-earlier period, an increase of $48 million, or 18%. The company said the quarter ended on June 30, 2026. Gross profit rose to $82 million from $51 million, an increase of $31 million, or 61%. Gross margin was 26%, compared with 19% a year earlier, up 7 percentage points. Kodak also reported U.S. GAAP net income of $17 million, after a net loss of $26 million in the second quarter of 2025.

The revenue increase came from growth in Advanced Materials and Chemicals and Print, with the former recording the faster pace. Advanced Materials and Chemicals revenue was $105 million, compared with $75 million a year earlier, an increase of $30 million, or 40%. Print revenue rose to $195 million from $178 million, an increase of $17 million, or 10%. The figures show that growth in both segments accompanied the increase in consolidated revenue during the quarter. Revenue from the two segments made up the largest share of total reported revenue, the company said.

Adjusted operating earnings rose to $36 million in the second quarter from $9 million in the year-earlier period, an increase of $27 million. Kodak attributed the improvement to better pricing and higher sales volume, partly offset by higher silver and aluminum prices and general and administrative costs. The company said higher silver and aluminum prices weighed on operating earnings growth. Operating cash flow, meanwhile, improved by $5 million year over year, according to the statement. The company also said an increase in inventory, mainly related to silver and aluminum, contributed to lower cash.

The second-quarter results follow a net loss of $16 million in the first quarter of 2026, compared with a loss of $7 million in the first quarter of 2025. Adjusted operating earnings in the first quarter were $15 million, compared with $2 million a year earlier. Chief Executive Jim Continenza said, "The two words that sum up our second-quarter performance are stability and growth." He added that the company was moving into a new phase of transformation focused on growth. Kodak shares closed at $9.21 on October 22, 2026, according to EL7 data.
