Alongside the results, the board approved an increase in the capital investment for the GIS expansion project in Vilholi, Nashik, from 35.17 crore rupees to 44.62 crore rupees. The approval represents an increase in the amount allocated to the project compared with the previous investment. The board also approved an investment of 15.31 crore rupees to raise annual EHV circuit-breaker manufacturing capacity at the S3 Unit-II facility. The plan targets adding 3,600 units a year to manufacturing capacity after the expansion is completed. These decisions place grid and high-voltage equipment among the spending plans announced alongside the quarterly results.
