Revenue totaled about $2.5 billion, up 8.2% from the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, according to the earnings statement. Organic revenue growth was 2.1% during the quarter, compared with the reported total growth rate. On a GAAP basis, net income rose to $130.4 million from $124.8 million a year earlier. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization totaled $328.8 million during the period. The EBITDA margin was 13.3%, according to the company's disclosure of results for the start of its fiscal year.

On CACI's liquidity, free cash flow totaled $133.5 million during the fiscal first quarter, according to the company's statement. CACI attributed the decline in operating cash flow, excluding its receivables purchase program, primarily to "higher working capital." Contract awards totaled $4.8 billion during the same period. The company reported a rounded book-to-bill ratio of 2.0 times. New business accounted for about 61% of total contract awards during the quarter, according to the disclosure. Funded backlog rose 14.8% year on year as of September 30, 2026. The increase in funded backlog coincided with revenue and earnings growth at the start of the fiscal year.

The company said the termination of DISH contracts reduced site rental revenue by $61 million during the quarter. Revenue was also affected by $5 million in Sprint contract cancellations during the same period.

Crown Castle attributed the improvement in adjusted funds from operations per share to "lower interest expense and fewer common shares outstanding," following the use of proceeds from the sale of its fiber and small cell businesses. The divestiture of the two businesses was completed on May 1, 2026, according to the company's disclosure. EQT acquired the small cell business as part of the transaction. The fiber solutions business went to Zayo in the other part of the sale. On capital returned to shareholders, Crown Castle paid cash dividends of $1.0625 per common share during the quarter, unchanged from the corresponding period a year earlier.
