Inwido reported operating profit before interest, tax and amortisation of intangible assets of 334 million Swedish crowns in the third quarter in results published on 21 October 2026. The company compared the result with profit of 268 million crowns in the same period a year earlier. It said the profit was the highest quarterly figure in its history, alongside an improvement in profitability. The operating margin on the same basis rose to 12.3%, from 12.0% in the third quarter of 2025. Earnings thus continued to improve after the company reported operating profit of 314 million crowns in the second quarter of 2026, compared with 264 million in the corresponding period.

Quarterly sales rose 22% to 2,724 million Swedish crowns, from 2,224 million a year earlier, according to the company's disclosure. Organic sales growth was 5% in the third quarter, compared with the higher overall rate of expansion. Inwido develops and sells customised window and door solutions through a decentralised business structure that relies on organic growth and acquisitions. As part of its expansion into the Croatian market, it bought a 70% stake in Marlex from its founder. The acquired company manufactures PVC and aluminium windows and doors. Inwido had said in its second-quarter results that the transaction was completed at the end of June and that Marlex's income statement would be consolidated into the group's results from July, bringing it within the scope of third-quarter operations.

On demand, order intake grew organically by 7% in the third quarter, according to Inwido's statement. The project segment led the performance, recording organic order intake growth of 18% during the period. By contrast, organic order growth in the consumer segment was limited to 1%, highlighting the differing strength of demand between the two segments. The order backlog reached a record 3,453 million Swedish crowns at the end of September 2026. That compares with 2,769 million crowns at the end of September a year earlier, with the increase in new orders accompanied by an expansion in the group's outstanding backlog.

Management attributed the improved performance to increased project demand and greater operational efficiency, according to its comments accompanying the results. It cited cost control and pricing discipline among the factors supporting performance during the quarter. In its market assessment, management said "Denmark is stable and Sweden is improving", describing activity trends in the two markets. But it warned that higher energy prices could push up inflation. It added that this could lead to higher interest rates in Europe, among the risks it highlighted in its comments on the business environment.

In the background to project activity, contracts held by the group's Sidey Solutions subsidiary in Scotland's Falkirk area are worth 50 million pounds, according to Inwido's announcement on the contracts. The company described them as the largest order in its history. The contracts run for 5 years, with deliveries starting in July 2026, setting an execution timetable that extends beyond the quarter for which the company reported results. As part of its British expansion, Inwido also acquired a 70% stake in Sovereign Group. The British company serves the social and affordable housing market, a segment in which the group is strengthening its presence through the deal.

Inwido has scheduled its Capital Markets Day for 9 December 2026, according to its financial calendar. The programme includes an update on the group's strategy, according to the company's official invitation. It also includes a presentation on long-term growth opportunities and its financial ambition. The company is devoting a session to explaining how it creates value through acquisitions and integration, as part of a discussion of its expansion path. It then plans to publish its full-year results report, covering January to December 2026, on 9 February 2027.
