Curbline Properties acquired 62 convenience shopping centers for $715.2 million from the start of 2026 through September 11, according to the company's investment activity update for the elapsed portion of the third quarter. The total follows cumulative purchases of 44 centers through the end of June 2026, according to the company's statement on first-half investment activity. Those purchases totaled $516.5 million, before the addition of properties acquired during the subsequent period covered by the September update. Third-quarter acquisitions through September 11 included 18 properties, continuing the expansion of its convenience shopping center portfolio. These quarterly purchases totaled $198.6 million as of the update, forming part of its cumulative acquisition spending since the start of the year.

On financial performance, Curbline's funds from operations rose to $0.31 per diluted share in the second quarter of 2026, compared with $0.26 in the same period of 2025, according to the company's earnings announcement. Curbline attributed the increase primarily to the "net impact of asset acquisitions," which it identified as the driver of the improvement in the per-share measure. It said higher interest expense partly offset the positive impact of acquisitions on funds from operations. A higher average share count also partly offset the increase, according to the company's explanation of its second-quarter performance. Net income attributable to Curbline, meanwhile, fell to $6.9 million during the same period. Net income in the second quarter of the previous year was $10.4 million, leaving the company with lower attributable earnings alongside higher funds from operations per diluted share. In a separate disclosure on shareholder returns, Curbline declared a cash dividend on its common shares of $0.17 per share for the third quarter of 2026.

At Ryder System, total revenue reached $3.3 billion in the second quarter of 2026, according to the company's earnings statement for the period. Revenue rose 5% from the year-earlier quarter, supported by its Supply Chain Solutions and Fleet Management Solutions businesses. For continuing operations, the company reported comparable non-GAAP earnings per share of $3.73 in the second quarter. Ryder said earnings per share on this basis rose 12% year on year, outpacing total revenue growth over the same period. In a subsequent stock-related development, Investing.com said in a report dated September 29, 2026, that Ryder shares fell 2.4% in morning trading. The decline followed Baird's downgrade of the stock from "Outperform" to "Neutral," according to the report.

When announcing its second-quarter results, Ryder raised its full-year 2026 comparable non-GAAP earnings per share guidance range to between $14.40 and $14.80. In the same disclosure, the company forecast third-quarter comparable non-GAAP earnings per share of between $4.00 and $4.20, an estimate issued alongside the previous quarter's results. For its October disclosure schedule, Ryder set October 22, 2026, as the date for releasing third-quarter results, according to its announcement detailing the release and discussion arrangements. The company said the results were scheduled for release at approximately 7:00 a.m. U.S. Eastern Time. It scheduled the earnings call for 11 a.m. the same day, separately from the announced results release time.
