Three companies set third-quarter results dates, two on November 5
Key Facts
Playboy and ICU Medical set November 5 to report third-quarter 2026 results, while Laser Photonics will report results on November 12, according to company data. The results cover the quarter ended September 30. Playboy will release results after the Nasdaq close, while ICU Medical will report at about 4:00 p.m. Eastern time, followed by its call at 4:30 p.m. Laser Photonics will report results before the market opens on November 12 and hold its investor call at 8:00 a.m. Eastern time. The dates give investors successive points to review the performance of companies operating in different sectors over the same quarter.
Playboy’s upcoming results follow revenue of $31.2 million in the second quarter of 2026, up 11% from $28.1 million in the same period of 2025. The company attributed the increase mainly to the performance of the Honey Birdette brand. Direct-to-consumer revenue rose 18.2% to $19.5 million, with the company citing stronger-than-expected online and store sales and higher gross margins. The chief executive also said the second quarter was the sixth consecutive quarter in which the company posted positive adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization. The market will look to the third-quarter results for signs of whether that performance continued, as well as details on licensing revenue. The company said more than $320 million of it represents unrecognized future revenue, and about 91% of fiscal 2026 licensing revenue is backed by contractual guarantees.
Playboy plans to hold an investor call at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time on the day it reports results, with a webcast and a telephone replay available through December 5, 2026. The call gives investors an opportunity to hear management explain the figures after the results are released. ICU Medical will report results at about 4:00 p.m. the same day, ahead of a call starting at 4:30 p.m. The company makes infusion systems and related supplies, as well as critical care products used in hospitals, alternate care sites and home care. In the second quarter, the chief executive said infusion systems results exceeded the company’s expectations, while results across the rest of the business were generally in line with them; the third-quarter results will offer another indication of performance across its segments.
Laser Photonics’ call comes as the company resumes quarterly earnings calls. Chief Executive Dmitry Nikitin said the move was part of its commitment to dialogue and transparency with shareholders. The call will include a company update and a question-and-answer session, with a telephone replay available through November 19. The company describes its business as developing laser and directed-energy technologies for defense, semiconductor, pharmaceutical and industrial markets. It regained compliance with Nasdaq’s periodic filing requirements after submitting its quarterly report on June 11, and Nasdaq closed the noncompliance matter on June 12. The company also announced in September that it had closed a public offering that raised $7.9 million.
The three companies’ shares closed at different levels on October 21, according to EL7 data: Playboy at $1.13, Laser Photonics at $0.7242 and ICU Medical at $160.84. These prices alone do not explain share movements or link them to the results-date announcements. The third-quarter disclosures follow second-quarter results that provided different operating context for each company, from Playboy’s revenue growth to ICU Medical’s assessment of infusion systems performance. The reporting schedule begins on November 5, with Playboy’s results after the Nasdaq close and ICU Medical’s at about 4:00 p.m. Eastern time. Laser Photonics will then report results before the market opens on November 12, with its call set to begin at 8:00 a.m. Eastern time.
