Worldcoin rose 9.06% to $0.534 on October 19, 2026, according to Investing.com's daily historical data table, coinciding with World's announcement of a digital identity suite for banking and finance. The price recorded in the same table was $0.489 on October 18, the announcement date listed on the company's website. World co-founder Alex Blania unveiled the suite on stage at the Money 20/20 conference in Las Vegas. The suite combines the World ID app, identity tools for agents and integration with Zoom, according to the company's announcement. World's offering for the financial sector includes proof of human presence, agent authorization and verification in video meetings. The company says proof of presence involves a quick liveness check performed on a phone.

World named Bain Capital, OpenExchange, Outtake, Pantera Capital and VanEck Funds as initial design partners using the technology. The announced list includes Bain Capital, Pantera Capital and VanEck Funds alongside OpenExchange and Outtake in developing applications for banking and finance. In defining the product's role within financial institutions, World stresses that its service does not replace the institution's know-your-customer procedures. Responsibility for verifying legal identity and customer eligibility remains with the financial institution, according to the company's explanation of the service. The institution also remains responsible for compliance and account ownership when using the digital identity tools. Describing the division of responsibilities, World said, "Your institution remains responsible for legal identity, eligibility, compliance and account ownership."

The banking announcement comes as World expands access to its identity tools, having announced the availability of the World ID app in more than 150 countries. The company said in its October 2026 announcement that more than 18 million people hold proof of humanity. According to World, cumulative use of this proof exceeded 475 million times worldwide as of the October announcement. For meetings, verification through Zoom has become available to the platform's enterprise customers globally through its app marketplace. Zoom previously announced its partnership with Tools for Humanity to integrate human verification into meetings on April 17, 2026. The partnership also allows Zoom customers to host Orb devices in their offices, according to World's announcement of the service.

World defines the scope of processing in its Zoom integration as video, saying the service "analyzes video only, without audio or transcripts." The rollout of verification tools for financial institutions comes as the U.S. Financial Crimes Enforcement Network warns of the use of fraudulent identity documents to bypass identity verification and authentication. The network cited these practices in an alert on deepfake risks at financial institutions. In an estimate of the scale of the threat, Deloitte projects that generative artificial intelligence could drive U.S. fraud losses to $40 billion by 2027. Deloitte compares that level with losses of $12.3 billion in 2023. The firm's estimate links the use of generative artificial intelligence in fraud to the potential rise in losses over the period from the comparison year to 2027.

The financial suite also includes tools that allow agents to present World ID proofs, as part of a product offering designed for agents acting on behalf of individuals. World describes the AgentKit tools used for this purpose as still in beta. According to the company's explanation, an individual authorizes an agent to act on their behalf within defined delegation controls. World said, "Individuals give agents the ability to act on their behalf within defined controls." This use combines an individual's delegation to an agent with the ability to present proof of identity through the beta tools. The company includes its identity service for agents alongside the app and Zoom integration in the suite Blania unveiled at the financial-sector conference in Las Vegas.

As the next step in the meetings integration, World plans to make an option available soon allowing hosts to enable a dedicated identity-service waiting room within Zoom. The forthcoming option adds a waiting room to the service already available to Zoom's enterprise customers globally through the app marketplace. Meeting hosts will be able to enable the room within the platform, according to the company's description of the upcoming feature. The waiting room is part of the expansion of World ID's integration with Zoom, alongside the option to host Orb devices at customers' offices. The U.S. Money 20/20 conference, where the banking suite was unveiled, runs in Las Vegas from October 18 to 21, 2026. The conference is scheduled to conclude on October 21, after Blania presented the suite on its stage.
