Circle8 Group said in a statement distributed through GlobeNewswire on 20 October 2026 that its Dutch subsidiary had won a contract with Dutch agency CAK with a stated value of $68 million in annual revenue. The contract combines brokerage and managed services, expanding the company's work with an existing client. The agreement shifts Circle8 Netherlands' role from providing technology expertise to overseeing a broader range of services, according to the group's statement. The company described the stated value as "$68 million in annual revenue." It stressed, however, that this value "is not a guarantee of recognized revenue," a qualification concerning the revenue it will record in its accounts in any given period.

According to the announcement, the company will take responsibility for sourcing, contracting and overseeing service delivery within an integrated managed services framework. Its responsibilities will thus extend to monitoring service delivery alongside its role in providing technology expertise to the agency. Circle8 Netherlands had documented in an earlier announcement that it handled CAK's requests for external technology talent in full. Its previous work included recruiting, contracting and managing that talent, according to the company's description of its relationship with the agency. The new contract adds oversight of a broader range of services to this existing relationship, with the statement defining the company's responsibilities as "sourcing, contracting and overseeing service delivery."

The announcement follows another Dutch government contract announced by Circle8 Netherlands with a total value of approximately $492 million over 4 years. That contract covers the ministries of health and social affairs, as well as the Dutch Healthcare Authority, according to the group's statement distributed through GlobeNewswire. The company also announced a contract renewal with DUO Groningen, part of the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. The stated total value of that renewal is approximately $314 million, also spread over a contractual term of 4 years. The group described the first government contract as having a "total value of approximately $492 million over its 4-year term." The DUO Groningen contract represents the renewal of a contractual relationship with another Dutch entity, according to the company's announcement.

At group level, service revenue reached $569.7 million in the first half of 2026, according to Circle8's earnings statement distributed through GlobeNewswire. Revenue in the corresponding period of 2025 was approximately $205.7 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 176.9% based on the reported figures. This comparison concerns first-half service revenue, while the company's explanation of the drivers of the increase addressed second-quarter revenue. The group attributed that quarter's revenue growth primarily to the acquisition of Circle8 Group B.V. in January 2026. It said the increase "primarily reflected the acquisition in January 2026," placing the deal at the forefront of the factors driving revenue growth in the quarter. It also cited growth in its domestic business as an additional factor in the increase.

Meanwhile, the group's gross profit margin fell to 7.9% in the first half of 2026, according to its quarterly report filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The margin had stood at 11.0% in the first half of 2025, the comparison period cited in the filing. The company attributed the margin decline to its international operations, including businesses in European markets. It said those markets generate lower margins than the group's domestic business, according to its explanation of the change in gross profitability. The filings described these operations as being in "European markets with lower margins compared with the company's domestic business," in explaining the margin decline during the period in which service revenue grew.

Alongside the Dutch contracts, Circle8 faces a deadline concerning its potential acquisition of SThree, according to a deadline extension announcement issued by the latter. Circle8 said in a statement dated 11 September 2026 that the proposed transaction was structured as an all-cash offer. It added that the proposed financing would not involve issuing additional Circle8 ordinary shares, according to its statement on the potential offer. The deadline to announce a firm intention to make a takeover offer, or to announce that it will not make an offer, expires on 21 October 2026. SThree's announcement set the deadline at 5.00 p.m. London time that day, making the offer decision the next milestone linked to the potential transaction. Work under the new CAK contract is scheduled to begin on 1 January 2027, according to Circle8's statement.
