AmpliTech Group announced in a statement issued on October 14, 2026, that it received purchase orders worth more than $17 million during the third quarter of the year. The total includes previously announced follow-on orders as part of its business supplying radio equipment for open radio access networks. Alongside the order update, AmpliTech said the number of radio units deployed under its program with a North American telecommunications operator exceeded 3000. These field deployments relate to the North American operator's program, while earlier purchase announcements included a separate program with an Asian mobile operator. The October statement thus brought together the quarter's purchase order intake and progress in deploying the company's equipment at one of its customers.

AmpliTech had announced that follow-on orders during July 2026 exceeded $6 million, according to its published summer business update. That month's total included additional orders of nearly $4 million, which the company classified as follow-on purchases. In August, it announced further follow-on orders worth approximately $7.3 million to support network deployments at an Asian mobile operator. The company described these purchases as follow-on orders tied to deployments under the program for which it had previously announced a letter of intent. However, it clarified in the same statement that "the previously announced letter of intent is non-binding," a qualification concerning the program's announced framework alongside the purchase orders it had already received.

On financial performance, AmpliTech's revenue in the second quarter of 2026 was approximately $8.07 million, according to the company's earnings statement for the period. The company compared that figure with revenue of $5.35 million in the first quarter of the same year. Quarter-on-quarter growth was approximately 50.9%, as revenue rose from the first-quarter level to the second-quarter total. Against the backdrop of this quarterly increase, the company had recorded annual revenue of $25.2 million in fiscal 2025. That annual total compared with revenue of $9.5 million in fiscal 2024, according to figures AmpliTech cited in an earlier follow-on order announcement.

The increase in second-quarter revenue from the first quarter coincided with a decline in gross profit margin between the two periods, according to the earnings statement. The margin was 27.9% in the second quarter, compared with 48.0% in the first quarter. Explaining the variation in margins, management said "margin performance from quarter to quarter may vary depending on the product and shipment mix." In earlier trading coinciding with the announcement of purchases under the Asian program, AmpliTech shares closed at $3.740 in the August 27, 2026, session. The stock rose 5.35% that day, according to historical price data published by Investing.com, on the day the Asian operator's orders were announced.

AmpliTech's outstanding orders were worth approximately $17 million in the business and financial outlook update it issued in August. In that update, the company said some Asian customers had postponed previously anticipated deployment schedules. It explained that changes to deployment dates affected the timing of equipment shipments to those customers. The schedule changes also affected the timing of revenue recognition associated with those shipments, according to management's update. Potential additional orders under the Asian program are subject to final purchase orders, customer deployment schedules and other customary conditions, according to the terms the company cited in its follow-on order statement concerning the operator.

Regarding upcoming business, AmpliTech said in its October statement that it was actively participating in large-scale tenders for open radio access network solutions. Participation in these tenders comes alongside the equipment deployment programs at telecommunications operators covered in the company's business updates. On financial targets, management said in its August update that it expected to achieve positive earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization. It identified fiscal 2027 as the year in which it expected to reach that target, according to the outlook in place when the update was issued. Management said: "The company currently expects to achieve positive earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization in fiscal 2027."
