A tokenized version of Franklin Templeton's high yield bond ETF, dubbed FLHYon, has been launched on the Pendle DeFi protocol. Crypto Briefing reported that Franklin Templeton has expanded its presence in the Real World Asset (RWA) space by making its tokenized high-yield bond ETF available on Pendle.
The move aims to democratize access to high-yield corporate debt through decentralized finance and increase the utility of tokenized traditional financial assets. This expansion occurs alongside recent global economic shifts, including a reported U.S. trade deficit of $105.6 billion and a Canadian trade surplus of 4.2 billion on October 6, 2026.
