The Sui Foundation will invest $30 million in DATA Network, positioned to become the network's largest institutional holder. TokenPost reported that DATA Network is retiring its standalone blockchain to migrate its operations natively into the Sui ecosystem.

Existing DATA tokens will migrate to the Sui network on a one-to-one basis, and the network will continue its current operations until the upgrade is finalized. As of October 12, 2026, DATA Foundation’s trace registries are also set to join the Sui ecosystem, utilizing Sui’s Walrus platform as the default storage layer for its applications.
