The landmark contract follows significant investments by RTX to scale its manufacturing capacity, having nearly doubled AMRAAM production in 2025 compared to 2024. Now in its fifth generation, the missile system serves as the primary interceptor for air-to-air missions and the NASAMS air defense system, currently deployed across 14 platforms in 44 countries.
