TokenPost reported that the exchange detected unauthorized transfers from its hot and warm wallet infrastructure on September 24, 2026, resulting in the drainage of 102,926,478 XRP tokens.
The stolen assets also included 31,890 Ether valued at approximately $85.75 million, alongside stablecoins and other tokens such as BNB, AVAX, and TRX. Bitget stated that its cold wallets remained unaffected and noted that its User Protection Fund holds over $464 million, an amount exceeding the current estimates of the affected funds.
