SK hynix reported preliminary record results for the second quarter of 2026, with revenue of 79.3187 trillion Korean won and operating profit of 60.5426 trillion Korean won. Revenue rose 257% and operating profit increased 557% year over year, producing a 76% operating margin.

The company attributed the performance to expanding AI-infrastructure investment and higher prices for high-performance AI-server products. Increased sales of higher-value products, including HBM, AI-server DRAM and eSSD, lifted the value and profitability of the sales mix; that is why operating profit grew faster than revenue.

Cash and equivalents reached 88 trillion Korean won at quarter-end, against total debt of 18.6 trillion Korean won, lifting net cash to 69.4 trillion Korean won. That gives the company more flexibility to fund production capacity, while capital discipline remains important in an investment-heavy, cyclical industry.

SKHY closed at $195.37 on September 22, 2026 within a $186.37–$196.48 range. SK hynix finalized long-term supply agreements with around 10 customers and plans to ramp HBM4 production in the second half of 2026; preserving elevated margins will depend on volume growth and sustained pricing.
