Zeo Energy, Ewyze Agree to Develop Off-Grid Power and Data-Center Projects
Key Facts
Zeo Energy said on September 22 that it entered a cooperation agreement with Ewyze to develop integrated off-grid power and data-center infrastructure. The parties intend to focus primarily on U.S. opportunities while considering selected international markets.
The collaboration covers site identification, land acquisition, permitting, engineering, construction, financing and commercialization with data-center operators and hyperscale customers. The companies say it combines Zeo's platform and strategic relationships with Ewyze's more than 18 years of experience and approximately 1.7 gigawatts of developed renewable-power solutions.
The proposed model would develop data centers alongside dedicated microgrids combining solar generation, battery storage and a dispatchable source that could be a grid connection, natural gas or geothermal power. That structure is intended to provide round-the-clock power while reducing reliance on conventional interconnection queues; the companies estimate capacity could come online in about 2 to 3 years where land, permitting, financing and technical conditions allow.
ZEO closed the September 21 session at $0.3119 after trading between $0.2328 and $0.39. The September 22 announcement identified no sites, customers, project capacities or financial terms, so the potential economics will depend on converting the cooperation framework into financed projects and binding commercial contracts.
