US Spot Bitcoin ETFs Lose $462.7 Million From September 8-11

Key Facts
US-listed spot Bitcoin products recorded $462.7 million of net outflows across 4 trading sessions from September 8-11, 2026. The figure covers that weekly interval, not September as a whole.
Outflows totaled $46.6 million on September 8, $120.2 million on September 9, $282.7 million on September 10 and $13.2 million on September 11. The September 10 session accounted for more than half of the period’s total.
Despite the latest outflow run, spot Bitcoin products remained at approximately $307.3 million of net inflows for September through September 11, based on the published daily figures. Earlier gains included $730.8 million on September 3 and $174.6 million on September 4.
Ethereum products moved in the opposite direction, recording about $197.1 million of net inflows from September 8-11. The $216.4 million inflow on September 11 was sufficient to offset outflows in some of the preceding sessions.
In the spot market, BTCUSD closed at $76,677.3 on September 13, while ETHUSD closed at $2,516.4, according to EL7’s internal data. The concurrent price and flow readings provide market context, but do not establish that fund redemptions caused the price move.
Exchange-traded products give investors price exposure to Bitcoin through listed securities, but they are not direct ownership of the cryptocurrency and remain subject to substantial volatility. The next flow readings will show whether redemptions persist or reverse; data from 4 sessions alone do not prove a seasonal institutional shift or determine the next price direction.
