Ondo Finance has achieved a global milestone by completing the world's first near-instantaneous cross-border redemption of a tokenized U.S. Treasury fund through a pilot involving Ripple and JPMorgan. New reports have confirmed the pilot's success in linking blockchain-based redemptions directly with instant cross-border fiat settlement infrastructure. Following this institutional milestone, the price of the ONDO token rose 5.7% to approximately $0.3664, maintaining a significant 7-day increase of 37.5%. The initiative utilized JPMorgan’s Kinexys unit and Mastercard's Multi-Token Network (MTN) to bridge digital assets with traditional interbank systems. Ripple is now targeting the processing of $3 trillion in corporate treasury flows by positioning XRP as a primary settlement layer. The pilot demonstrated settlement speeds of under five seconds, signaling a definitive move toward 24/7 liquidity and a tokenized financial future.
