Red White & Bloom to Acquire Ayurcann Assets Through Insolvency Process

Emblem Cannabis, a subsidiary of Red White & Bloom Brands Inc. (RWB), has been selected as the successful bidder to acquire the assets of Ayurcann Holdings Corp. The acquisition is being conducted through a court-supervised sale and investment solicitation process under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA). This strategic move includes the takeover of Health Canada-licensed manufacturing operations and several leading vape and pre-roll brands. Furthermore, RWB will gain access to Ayurcann’s national distribution capabilities, significantly enhancing its footprint in the Canadian cannabis market. The transaction involves the acquisition of 100% of newly issued shares and underlying assets following Ayurcann's insolvency proceedings. Analysts view this acquisition of distressed assets as a positive step for RWB’s vertical integration and market share expansion.
