Uranium Energy Corp (UEC) has officially announced the commencement of uranium production at its Burke Hollow project in South Texas. This milestone marks the first new in-situ recovery (ISR) uranium operation to begin in the United States in more than a decade. The start of operations follows the receipt of final regulatory approval from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). With this launch, UEC becomes the only domestic uranium company operating two active ISR hub-and-spoke platforms, including its Christensen Ranch site.
