Deckorators, a division of UFP Industries (UFPI), has finalized the acquisition of the remaining operating assets of the MoistureShield decking brand, including a manufacturing facility in Arkansas. This strategic move incorporates proprietary CoolDeck technology, positioning the company to significantly expand its footprint in the outdoor living sector. The company has set an ambitious goal to double its wood plastic composite (WPC) manufacturing capacity to $200 million by 2027. To achieve these growth targets, Deckorators plans to implement additional capital investments in its manufacturing assets.
