Ellomay Capital Ltd. (ELLO) has announced the outcome of its separation process from the Luzon Group regarding their joint venture, Ellomay Luzon Energy. The transaction involves the divestment of indirect holdings in Dorad Energy Ltd., based on a total company valuation of 4.4 billion NIS. This valuation translates to approximately $1.2 billion, providing a significant benchmark for Ellomay's energy infrastructure assets. Ellomay Luzon Energy, which is 50% owned by Ellomay, currently maintains a 33.75% stake in Dorad Energy. The move follows a formal separation agreement between Ellomay and the Luzon Group to streamline their respective operations. Analysts view the deal as bullish for ELLO, as it suggests substantial value realization and potential cash inflows for the company.
