Shareholders of Dolly Varden Silver and Contango ORE have officially approved the proposed merger of equals between the two mining entities. The overwhelming support from both sets of investors marks a significant milestone in the consolidation of their precious metals assets. During a special meeting, Contango ORE stockholders voted in favor of all proposals related to the transaction to ensure a seamless transition. Dolly Varden has established March 24, 2026, as the final deadline for the election of exchangeable shares as part of the agreement. This strategic combination is expected to create a larger, more diversified entity within the silver and gold mining sectors. The successful vote removes a primary hurdle, clearing the path for the finalization of the merger and the realization of corporate synergies.
