Global international tourist receipts reached an impressive $1.74 trillion in 2024, marking a significant 14% increase from pre-pandemic levels recorded in 2019. The United States emerged as the leading earner, attracting $215 billion from foreign visitors, underscoring its robust appeal as a global travel destination. Europe continues to dominate the top ranks, with Spain generating $106.5 billion, followed by the United Kingdom at $82.5 billion, France with $77 billion, and Italy contributing $58.7 billion. Notably, the United Arab Emirates demonstrated strong performance, securing $57.0 billion in tourism revenue, a figure comparable to major European tourism powerhouses.
