Aura Minerals Inc. has announced a significant operational breakthrough at its Borborema mine in Brazil following a key regulatory agreement. The company reached an accord with the Brazilian National Department of Infrastructure (DNIT) to relocate a federal road that currently crosses the mining site. This strategic move allows the company to access and book an additional 670,000 ounces of gold reserves that were previously obstructed by the infrastructure. Consequently, the total gold reserves at the Borborema project have surged to approximately 1.5 million ounces. The expansion of exploitable reserves is expected to significantly enhance the company's long-term production profile and overall valuation. This development marks a major milestone in Aura Minerals' ongoing efforts to optimize its Brazilian mineral assets.
